This Meissen porcelain figural groups depicts the daughters of Zeus standing around a sacrificial column and joined in an embrace, dressed in light blue, yellow and light cloths, the column with wide and fine gold edges,  pink roses with gold heightened foliate tendrils. Modeled by Christian Gottfried Jüchtzer 1784

From Greek mythology are the three graceful, merciful daughters of Zeus and Eurynome: Aglaia=Splendor, Euphrosine=Good Cheer, Thalia=Festivity, they were known as the Three Graces in Ancient Rome. The group was formed following a Hellenistic model and is a model example for the classicist depiction of humans.
