marble figure of a lady sitting on rocks
Price upon request
This magnificent Italian marble figure depicts a woman sitting atop a stone,
The details on her dress show it flowing carelessly by her feet, as she rests on an intricately designed rock. She carefully tussles her hair and looks off into the distance. The white Carrara marble beautifully complements her frilly dress, luscious locks, and detailed stone platform.

Paolo di Ferdinando Triscornia (1856-1936) added the 'di Ferdinando' to his name to distinguish himself from another sculptor with the same name, active in Carrara (d. 1907). Paolo was a descendant of another Paolo Triscornia (1757-1833), the Neoclassical sculptor who worked in Saint Petersburg for most of his career.
