This magnificent Austro-Hungarian silver parcel gilt, gems and enamel model of a horse-drawn carriage features a total of five gracefully galloping horses. Four horses pull the majestic carriage mounted with various semi-precious stones, driven by a coachman. The final horse runs beside the carriage and the rider holds a trumpet as his detailed blue cape flutters in the wind. The shaped base has semi precious stones mounted throughout the landscape. The Blue enamel accents and the mounted gems give this piece a rich and royal look.
